Ben Glover is set to release his new album, The Emigrant, tomorrow (September 30) on Proper Records. The Irish-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter’s effort consists of six traditional folk songs and also four originals. Co-produced by Glover and Neilson Hubbard, it includes co-writing credits from Gretchen Peters, Mary Gauthier and Tony Kerr.
Glover paid his way across the Atlantic by performing Irish folk ballads, and songs from Christy Moore and The Pogues in the bars of Boston. Back home in the pubs of Ireland, he was singing Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. The Emigrant tracklist is shown above this article; and you can pre-order from iTunes, here.
