Anchorman director Adam McKay’s next project is the possible Oscar contender The Big Short. The comedy drama also written by McKay based on a book by Micheal Lewis is set in the credit and housing bubble collapse of the mid 2000s. The film follows a group of outsiders in the financial world that predicted the collapse and took on the banks. McKay has gathered a stellar cast that includes Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Steve Carell and Marisa Tomei.
