The official trailer for Arcade Fire’s The Reflektor Tapes has just been shared. The feature-length film, which is due for worldwide release on the 24th of September, explores the story behind the band’s 2013 album Reflektor. The album’s tour, which the band have described as “[coming] the closest in our careers to putting on stage what we imagined in our heads“, will also provide subject matter for the film.
Direction comes from L.A. based Khalil Joseph who has previously worked with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus. Fans of the band will be happy to hear that the film is also set to reveal a previously unheard Arcade Fire track. The trailer promises a riveting watch and dramatic experience that delves right into the world of Arcade Fire, watch it below
