After the Bibi Bourelly-assisted track “Talk to Me”, London-based rapper and songwriter Nick Brewer has finally returned with some new music. The artist has teamed up with British singer and songwriter Sinead Harnett for his brand new single “Never Say Never?”.
The track, written and produced by Brewer, is another cut from his upcoming debut studio album, which is expected to be released this year via Island and Universal Music. “Never Say Never?” was released on digital retailers on Friday, January 22, while the music video, directed by Francis Wallis, was premiered through Vevo today (March 7).
The song is a piano and dance driven track, with strings kicking in not long in for dramatic effect. The complexity of the layers of instrumentation belies the beauty in the simplicity of the track; little things, an ensemble performance, combining for a bigger picture. The video features the two performers out for a night out, and generally having a good time. Something to eat, something to drink and, hey, a spot of singing at the end.
