Nick Jonas’ legendary acting career was cemented when he starred in Disney TV Movie Camp Rock (2008) alongside Demi Lovato. I jest. Whilst that might not be the case, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers (we’ll ignore younger brother Frankie, as most do) seems to be taking his acting career much more seriously now, signing on to star in Lionsgate’s Chaos Walking.
Jonas joins young stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) in Doug Liman‘s adaptation.
The film is based on Chaos Walking: The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness. Published in 2008 as the first in a trilogy, the book centers on the only boy in a town of men, forced to flee with his dog after he discovers the town’s hidden secrets. He comes upon a strange girl who joins him in the escape of his pursuers, rediscovering himself on the way.
Nick Jonas can be seen in the dystopian world once Chaos Walking premieres March 1, 2019. In the meantime, Jonas can be seen in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, though you’ll need some luck finding him in the trailer.
