With the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup less than three months away, Nike have unveiled its collection of World Cup uniforms for the US team today in Paris. Nike showcased 14 national team collections in total – including the United States, Canada, France, and England – ahead of this summer’s tournament in France.
The US Women’s National Soccer Team are currently involved in a lawsuit against US Soccer’s governing body for gender discrimination. And all eyes are sure to be on them — and not just because of their fight for equality. According to statistics, more Americans watched the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final than that year’s NBA Finals.
The collection rolled out on Monday has unique and interesting design elements that haven’t been seen before in the World Cup. The United States’ home kit will be white and subtly feature the names of all 50 states on the back of the jersey. The USA away kit will be red with an all-over stars and stripes design.
“This is my favorite kit to date. I like the really bold ones so when you step on the field people instantly know which team you’re playing for” says Alex Morgan, a player well known in the US as an Olympic gold medalist and FIFA Women’s World Cup champion.
The Women’s World Cup will be held from June 7 to July 7. Check out the US uniforms below.

Here are some of the other Nike kits for the Women’s World Cup. France, the World cup’s host, will play in a sharp white away kit with blue polka dots. Home wise, they will wear traditional blue with a rose gold trim.
England will sport a traditional all-white kit along with an all-red which features a floral imprint throughout the kit.
