Nuage and Jakke have teamed up for a release of a new house track, “Karma Response,” which combines the beat of dance music with depth of emotion. Created during a difficult period in Nuage’s life, the track reflects on the connection between our past actions and the present moment.
“Karma Response” carries a house music vibe, with smooth beats and a reflective mood. The track’s catchy rhythm and introspective lyrics, inviting listeners to think about their own experiences while enjoying the music, a song that combines danceable energy with reflection.
Nuage started the track while in Saint Petersburg, going through a challenging relationship. He describes feeling drained but still finding the energy to complete the song. The process of creating “Karma Response” became a way for him to explore the concept of karma, and the track evolved into a reminder that the experiences we face today are shaped by the choices we’ve made in the past.
At first, Nuage was unsure about releasing the track but changed his mind after sending it to Jakke. Jakke’s vocals and lyrics added a new dimension to the song. “His voice and lyrics were a game-changer,” Nuage says. Together, they transformed the track into something even more meaningful.
Jakke, who has roots in alternative rock, brought a unique perspective to the song. He co-wrote and recorded the vocals with his friend Trevor Coulter at Velvet Honey Studios in LA. For Jakke, the song is about accepting the fear and uncertainty that come with life, and finding peace in surrendering to life’s flow. The lyrics touch on the balance between fate and free will, and the importance of embracing the unknown.
