After dropping a teaser for it last week over on his Twitter, Octavian finally comes through with his promise and releases his brand new single “Hands“. If there is one thing that is for certain, it’s that the guy is actually on to something.
Produced by himself and J Rick, This comes as a fresh next chapter from “100 Degrees”, which was spun on OVO Sound Radio, and his smash “Party Here”. The teaser also happens to hint at some visuals to drop alongside the release, handled by regular collaborator Armin Druzanovic.
As for the song, it’s a melodical new joint that trades the bars for vocals. With thumping unmistakable bass, it leans more towards house with its rhythm and simplistic nature with some experimental ‘sprinkles’. Octavian is clearly adding to his repertoire.
Speaking to Fact Magazine earlier this year, the rapper spoke briefly about experiences and the creative process: “Through my past experiences, I feel like I can connect with lots of different kinds of people,” he says, “because I had to. It means I can make a lot of different kinds of music.”
