With the eventful filming of the Han Solo wrapped, the long awaited title has finally been revealed. It’s nothing short of expected. It’s far from innovative. It’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. Ron Howard, the director who took over from fired pair Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, revealed the title in a message posted on Twitter:
Hey #Twitterville we just wrapped production so here's a special message #StarWars pic.twitter.com/8QJqN5BGxr

Perhaps the simplicity and unexciting title is making way for a thrilling movie. Or perhaps Lucasfilm are looking for yet another way of disappointing fans. I jest. The film explores Han and Chewie’s adventures prior to Star Wars: A New Hope, and with Han the main man, Solo gets straight to the point. What’s in a name, anyway?
Solo: A Star Wars Story premieres May 25, 2018.
