So far the visuals we have been receiving from Omarion have been exciting, fun and new. “Distance” is the latest track from Maybach O and he has decided to jump on the dancehall slash afro-beat wave. He continues to share his journey with us in South Africa and this time he is embracing the culture.
The video sees O dressed in Zulu attire and dancing with the leading lady intimately and then crosses over to his solo scenes; where he is seen dancing in his usual expressive style. I have to say it is refreshing to see artists actually embrace a part of Africa, with the leading ladies being darker in complexion and getting involved.
After “BDY On Me”, “Distance” is definitely a step in the right direction. Reasons, which is the name of his forthcoming album is so far sounding great. I cannot wait for the release. For now let us watch the new video, “Distance”, below:
