Paramore have announced they have begun work on a follow up to their hugely successful 2013 self-titled album, through a photograph uploaded onto their Twitter account.
After weeks of cryptic pictures of the band, including former drummer Zac Farro, ‘having lunch’ being posted to their feed, it remains to be seen whether Farro has rejoined the band on a permanent basis. Whether this new collaboration will see a return to the band’s original, more punk-rooted sound is also a matter of conjecture at this time.
The announcement comes at a time of uncertainty for the band, who are currently embroiled in legal disputes with former bassist Jeremy Davis, leaving Hayley Williams and Taylor York as the sole remaining official members of the band.
