Having announced the divorce from his wife in August, Michael Angelakos has thanked fans for their support after he publicly announcing that he is gay. Angelakos made the announcement on auther Bret Easton Ellis’ podcast. Angelakos also spoke about his difficulties with coming out stating that he only told “very few people in my personal small circles because I don’t know how to talk about it”. After the podcast he tweeted: “Everything’s going to be okay. I’ve received so many kind and supportive messages today. Thank you for reaching out and being so kind to me”.
