Patch has just released his 5-track EP titled Regard-Less today. With this EP, Patch is proving to have an honest and conscious approach to hip hop. The five tracks of the EP are very varied and not repetitive, all tracks have been performed excellently and are particularly emotional.
“Surrender” is the most melodic song of the five songs on the EP, in this track, the instrumental part has a great importance and contributes to creating a gloomy and melancholic atmosphere.
Speaking about the album, the North London artist said: “The idea behind the ep was just to let my thoughts flow out naturally, regardless of whether they fitted into any traditional format. It was also written at a time when I having to remind myself to be true to who I am and have less regard for what anyone else thinks, hence the hyphen in the title. It’s a very free flowing project with no defined structure other than the current of emotion flowing through it.”
To celebrate his ‘Embrace Your Contradictions’ philosophy, Patch has announced a new clothing brand, kicking things off with ‘EYC’ T-shirts available online here. Listen to the Regard-Less EP from Patch below.
