According to the Sunday Times musicians Rich List, Sir Paul McCartney has topped the list once again, with his fortune estimated at £730 million – a rise of £20 million on last year. Lord Lloyd Webber (£650 million) and U2 (£431 million) follow the former Beatles member. Ringo Starr has also made an entry at number eight on the list, with an estimated worth of £180 million – showing, contrary to opinion, it pays to be a drummer! Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones are 5th and 6th on the list, having a combined worth of £435 million, but its not just veterans alone, Calvin Harris comes in at number 30, with a fortune of £70 million, making him as rich as Pete Townshend and Mark Knopfler.
