Today, Manchester four-piece PINS unveiled their new single “Young Girls”, the track is the first to be taken from their up and coming new album Wild Nights which is to be released in the UK on June 8. The all-female band recently previewed songs from their up and coming album via selling out three live shows in February, and aren’t only on their way to releasing a new album, but this month they’ll be supporting Drenge and Wire on their tours before playing a London show on the 27th of May at Lexington.
The song which offers sweet pop flavours, an ongoing drum beat and mellow guitar riffs is one to lift any girl’s spirits or mood in seconds and bring on feelings of self refection hope for the future. “‘Young Girls’ is my ode to all the wanna-be’s and gonna-be’s”, explains Faith Vern in the press release. “It’s about having a dream and making it happen. In many ways I feel like I am in the middle of a transition and ‘Young Girls’ is written from that vantage point; its’ full of determination, frustration and celebration… much like most days in this band!“.
