A couple of weeks ago, Ben Smith, aka DJ Daredevil, was hospitalised with spinal cancer. As one half of the Droppin’ Science crew, alongside DJ Matman, he has been a vital and exciting part of the UK’s hip-hop scene for many years; winning DJ battles, getting club goers amped and recording incredible mixes.
It is easy to forget that the music that we follow builds a community of which we are all a part. When a member of our community needs help it is up to us to step up and show support. We are therefore asking for your to help.
While he is not able at the moment to do the job he loves, entertaining us all, Ben is also not making rent. A Go Fund Me page has been set up in support, and we ask you take a little time out of your day to take a little money out of your account to support one of our own.
