US pop star P!nk has been very quiet regarding music lately, her last album Hurts 2B Human came out in 2019, and since then, she has only featured in other artists’ tracks. Although we’re all fans of her iconic songs and music videos, it was starting to be too long since her last record.
However, P!nk is back as she released a brand new single with her daughter Willow Sage Hart titled “Cover Me In Sunshine”, and as you can imagine, it is definitely a happy mother-daughter moment for all of to witness.
With Valentine’s Day just gone, it’s the perfect timing for a beautiful song. In her Twitter announcement video, P!nk explained that they recorded the song at their home, and that the song is here to give hugs and kisses to your loved ones.
We have already seen the mother-daughter duo singing and playing together a few times, but they hadn’t come out with a full single together. It’s a great way to see how Willow Sage’s talent has been growing over the years. P!nk added that the song made them happy and that dropping it out of the blue will makes it even better.
The duo have also released a music video for this single – the clip is very moving and personal and we see the young girl having fun with simple life moments with her mother including horse ridding, playing in the grass, taking care of the chickens and more. The music video goes perfectly with the title of the track.
