Kansas City based artist Heads Or Heads, also known as Alex Harbolt, has recently dropped his driving latest single “Climbing Up”, which is included in his sophomore album Low Angles, scheduled to be released on May, 1 on Spotify.
Heads Or Heads, who is primarily a filmmaker, started his music career when in 2018 he released his 10 tracks LP Am Enigma. The album was initially meant to be a gift for a friend, to be listened by friends and family, but gained a lot of attention when the artist uploaded it online.
His second album Low Angles was written and recorded after the singer and producer visited Los Angeles with his girlfriend. About his upcoming project, the artist said: “It was the first time in LA for both pf us and I remember so many crazy things kept happening that in my head, I kept going ‘ I can make an album out of this’”.
He eventually created an album out of that trip, and it sounds like it is going to be a really good one as the newly released “Climbing Up”, which is off the new album, features danceable rhythm, pulsating beats, bumping bassline and the powerful vocals of guest vocalist Lily Mueller.
You won’t be able to resist to this psychedelic pop track, as the recurring lines “Holding on to what you know/I have nothing left to see/Everyone wants a piece of me”, which you can easily read in the engaging visuals accompanying the single, are going to be stuck into your mind from the very first listen.
