Pop artist and song-writer Rosie Darling has released her new single “Nail In The Coffin” accompanied with a music video, featuring the Swedish alt-pop artist Boy in Space. “Nail In The Coffin” is focused on the sorrow caused by an heartbreaking and conflicting relationship so important that reconciliation is impossible.
The music video transcribed the melancholy by showing Rosie Darling and Boy in Space in different landscapes, surrounded by nature and alone feeling agony and going their separate ways. “Sometimes we have to walk away and end things unresolved and that’s painful”, said the singer about the song.
Rosie Darling is a passionate and confident LA-based songwriter and creative who made a name for herself with her Coping EP, which was released 2 years ago. It reached over 100 million global streams and charted in the Top 20 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. In 2022, she launched her second EP Golden Age, which has surpassed 22 million streams and attracted over 2.5 million Spotify monthly listeners.
The songwriter surrounded herself by several renowned producers for the production of this single and her soon to be released new LP coming later this year, including Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe) and Freddy Häggstam (Chainsmokers, Bebe Rexha). As for the music video it was directed by award-winning director and photographer, Laura-Lynn Petrick.
In the future, we can expect her collaboration with producer Andy Seltzer as well as audio engineer Michael Brauer (Coldplay) and Joe Laporta, who expressed their willingness to work with the pop Artist.
