Popcaan recently visited the BBC 1Xtra studio to sit down with Seani B to talk about the dancehall scene. During the interview, he made a statement claiming that an astonishing 99 percent of dancehall artists hate him.
Yes, you read correctly, 99 percent. Popcaan went on to discuss that that he believes that a progressive artist within the dancehall scene will not be liked by other artists, and that one artist could have a majority of the business and support within the industry, therefore if that artist does not like you, a large majority also won’t.
