On Monday night, Post Malone performed at Cutting Room in New York City and the artist not only revealed some details of his upcoming album, but he also decided to give a little taste of it, by performing a new track titled “Circles”.
The Texas-raised rapper hit the stage rocking a western-style outfit and he immediately kicked off the show with “Zack and Codeine” from his 2018’s album Beerbongs & Bentleys. As soon as he started with his performance, his pure and positive energy was spread all over the club on his ‘Bud Light Dive Bar’ tour stop.
Malone kept a very intimate tone, introducing himself by his real name, calling out his mom and constantly interacting with the crowd. The private, familiar atmosphere was also reinforced by the scenography as the rapper decided to keep it simple using only blue lights and the Bud Light logo to decorate the stage.
Malone pleased the fans by singing all of his most popular hits like “Wow”, “Sunflower” or “Psycho”, but the best arrived when he exclusively debuted his new song “Circles”, which he after announced, he would be releasing next week.
“It’s a little f**king different, it’s got a f**king fat groove, and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”, Malone said before he started playing the song. And he was right, the song has a fat groove and it is just amazing!
Besides, the artist also shared new information about his next album, saying “My third album will be coming out in September. I worked really f**king hard on it and I think you guys are gonna like it very, very, very much”.
