Canadian rock band, Preoccupations, (FKA Viet Cong) have shared a new 11 minute long track from their upcoming self titled LP, called “Memory”. Following their recent tracks “Degraded” and “Anxiety”, the track is a tense, deep audial experience.
It features indie rocker, Dan Boeckner, (known for Wolf Parade, Operators, Divine Fits, and the Handsome Furs) singing about halfway through the song, taking over and adding his own unique element to the track.
Preoccupations announced their official name change in April following after stating “We are a band who wants to make music and play our music for our fans. We are not here to cause pain or remind people of atrocities of the past“.
