It’s safe to say that vinyl can be quite expensive, signed vinyl on the other hand? From The Beatles? Now that’s where you are talking slightly more, only slightly mind. A rare signed Beatles vinyl of Please Please Me has recently been sold at auction for £22,000. Yup, you read that right. The Vinyl was sold on Ebay and received 39 bids, the description on the item read, “there are no stains/wrinkles/marks/other at all anywhere near the exquisite signatures of John, Paul, George and Ringo…this is an artifact worthy of the finest museum-grade collections, instantly transporting the new owner to a category of very, very elite collectors“. The item was sold to an undisclosed bidder. Other famous merchandise auctioned off that have made a tidy profit in the past include The Clash’s London Calling original album artwork which sold for $119,380, Jimi Hendrix’s guitar which sold for $328,291 and finally, and on the topic of The Beatles, John Lennon’s “Give Peace A Chance” lyrics which sold for $698,447.
