Rising R&B talent Q. Kiara has just shared her brand new single titled “Love Song” most recently, making us curious for her upcoming project 732 which turned out to be an homage to her hometown.
Q. Kiara, who’s real name is Quanisha Kiara Wathington, was born in Perth Amboy, NJ. She belongs to a family of musicians with her Grandfather and his brothers had having a Duwoop group and her Grandmother who was singing background for Bon Jovi.
In her music Kiara fusions Contemporary R&B, Commercial and Hip-Hop to a distinct sound that reminds of classic 90’s R&B. With her unique and chocolaty voice she expresses her emotive songwriting and creates catchy songs that also includes rap verses.
Kiara already spent years in the industry training her prowess as singer-songwriter. Her self-titled debut album was released 2008, when she was only 18 years-old.
Furthermore she gained attention by Radio Disney Tune Troop and performed as the opening act for Britney Spears and at various events and festivals. Later the young talent moved to Los Angelos to chase her dreams about a music career.
Right now she is working on her latest project titled 732 which will offer a more personal insight into Kiaras past with a variety of music all written by herself. Her latest single “Love Song” is about falling in love unexpectedly and enjoying every joy a relationship can bring.
