Red Hot Chili Peppers paid their tributes to David Bowie yesterday (February 5), during the fundraising concert for Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.
The American band covered Bowie’s “Cracked Actor”, from his 1973 record Aladdin Sane. In addition to that, drummer Chad Smith had his bass drum painted with a mixed portrait of Sanders and Aladdin Sane‘s artwork.

Sanders, who has received support from several musicians, including Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Keonig and Dirty Projectors, has already used a Bowie’s classic hit, “Starman”, during his campaigning in Iowa on February 1.
Below you can watch some amateurish footage of the cover.
