The official release dates of the last two chapters of the Furious saga has been announced by Universal studios. According to a report made by The Hollywood Reporter, the company has slated the ninth sequel for a release on April 19, 2019, and the tenth and supposed final film for a release some time during 2021. This decision will mark the franchise as having spanned over two decades, and will be among the list of major films to have spawned an expansive amount of sequels.
The eight sequel of the saga has already been slated for a release for April 2017, and will feature the same cast minus the late Paul Walker (whose in-film story concluded during the previous film). Series superstar and protagonist Vin Diesel also shared the news to his fans through his Instagram
