Influential producer Rick Rubin has put together a Star Wars themed album featuring new songs created using various sound effects from the series. The album features the likes of Flying Lotus, Rustie, A-Trak, Baauer, Royksopp, Shlohmo, and Rubin himself.
The album is titled Star Wars Headspace and is out digitally on Friday, February 19, via Hollywood Records/American Recordings. The physical release comes out later down the line on Friday, March 18. This of course comes out on the back of the seventh instalment of the epic space opera series, The Force Awakens. It was released the week prior to Christmas and brought over $2 billion in global box office revenue.
