Rihanna’s glamorous Savage X Fenty lingerie fashion show saw the biggest stars in attendance including Cara Delevinge, the Hadid sisters and Laverne Cox at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for the New York Fashion Week show on September 10.
The singer’s second annual presentation of her Savage X Fenty collection has become one of the most hyped and legendary shows of the season, with the exclusive audience led by top models, beauty bloggers, socialites, actors and even royals.
To make sure that the collection is being kept secret, guests at the event had to deposit their devices into sealed pouches. The inclusive and diverse show will also be under wraps until September 20, when it will be streamed by Amazon Prime across 200 countries.
The event opened with Rihanna and other women standing on top of podiums, before they started dancing seductively in lingerie later on during the show. RiRi herself also gave a great performance, wearing a sheer black outfit.
Hasley, Migos, DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Fat Joe, Tierra Whack, Fabolous and A$AP Ferg all performed at the RiRi show, with supermodels such as Alek Wek and Joan Smalls also taking part in the event.
Different sizes, shapes and skin tones were the centre of the stage in a show led by a variety of women in their underwear. Even a scene of Patrick Suskind’s Perfume was displayed in the Savage X Fenty lingerie event.
