Rising Indie Pop Star Tiger La Flor Releases ‘Heaven Is A Harley’

Tiger La Flor, the Japanese-Korean-American indie pop artist everyone’s talking about, is making waves with her latest single, “Heaven is a Harley”. Described as “the grainy film of memories” by EARMILK and “perfect for a midnight drive down Sunset Boulevard” by Get Some Magazine.

Tiger, whose full name is Tigerlily, grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a household filled with music. She first stepped into the spotlight fronting an all-girl grunge band with her sister and cousin, a group Seattle Weekly crowned “Seattle’s Best Underage Band.” Since going solo, Tiger has racked up millions of streams and built a fanbase of over 320,000 on TikTok and Instagram.

Her 2024 debut EP, See Me in Hell, sent her further into the spotlight, thanks to viral hits like “super8” and “Living in the 90s”. Critics, including Plastic Magazine and Spin, have hailed her as one of the most exciting new artists, blending emotion with catchy pop hooks.

Tiger’s new single, “Heaven is a Harley,” is all about freedom and self-discovery. Written during a solo train trip across Europe, the song captures the thrill of letting go of the past and stepping into your power. As Tiger explains, “It’s about that feeling of liberation and joy when you stop chasing what’s not meant for you and find peace in your solitude.”

Musically, “Heaven is a Harley” is inspired by the cinematic sound of Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die and Paradise albums. With its empowering vibe, it’s the perfect anthem for moments of self-reflection.

Tiger isn’t just about making great music; she’s also using her platform to push for greater representation of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) artists in the entertainment industry. Green Banana praised her as a trailblazer, calling her a “bombshell on the scene” with the drive to challenge the status quo.
