Rita Ora was sure to put any rumours of her being ‘Becky’ – the now infamous woman Beyonce references in her song “Sorry” accused of having an affair with husband Jay Z – to rest at the Met Gala on Monday May 2. The British singer took to her social media, via Snapchat, to post a cosy photo of herself with Beyonce with the caption ‘Family’ with a heart emoji. In what some deemed as ‘overdoing it’, Rita then took it upon herself to wear the name-tag ‘Not Becky’ to the Met Gala afterparty.
Fans of Beyonce have been quick to identify who ‘Becky’ is with initial reports suggesting the woman was fashion designer Rachel Roy. The rumours resulted in a barrage of hateful comments being left on the designer’s Instagram page, which has since been made private. The search for the elusive Becky continues!
