The limited box set, called The Rolling Stones In Mono, will include early recordings of the band that have been remastered, and a new compilation. The LPs have been cut to lacquers at the legendary Abbey Road Studios by engineer, Sean Magee.
“It features the first decade of the Stones starting with their debut album the self-titled ‘The Rolling Stones’ from April 1964. In addition, the new compilation Stray Cats pulls together the essential non-album B-sides & rarities from the ABKCO era entirely restored in MONO for the very first time”.
The box will be released on Friday, September 30 as a 15-CD or 16-LP set.
