The man with a voice who could melt the coldest of hearts, sensational and critically acclaimed Sam Smith has revealed the video for his forthcoming heartwrenching single “I’m Not The Only One”. The video features guest stars Dianna Agron from the TV show Glee and Chris Messina from The Mindy Project who star as real life re-enactments for Sam’s utterly captivating and sure-to-be chart topping single.
“I’m Not The Only One” as you may already know is taken from Sam Smith’s multi-platinum selling album In The Lonely Hour which of course debuted at #1 in the UK charts and #2 on the US Billboard Top 200 earlier this year. The album has sold over 1.3 million copies all over the world, and has broken records in the States as the highest first week sales for a UK male artist in the SoundScan era.
The new single “I’m Not The Only One” is actually one of the most defining tracks from the album – about knowing your partner is being unfaithful, a feeling I’m sure millions of fans will be able to share. The video is a perfect fit for the song as it is an emotional knocker, and accentuates a persons inner feelings of falling apart, whilst on the outside appearing to be fine. It is fairly simple but captures an audience into the story and really tugs at your heart strings, but in a delicate and tender way.
