Known for playing TV’s best known fashionista Carrie Bradshaw, actress Sarah Jessica Parker has added another title to her resume; bridal footwear designer. In purple, teal, cream and Carrie Bradshaw-esque navy blue, the bejewelled collection will be available online from Nordstrom and Bloomingdales. For her wedding with actor Matthew Broderick in 1997, Parker infamously wore black, something she has since called her “biggest fashion regret” in an interview with Martha Stewart’s wedding magazine, to coincide with the launch of her bridal shoewear collection. “If I were getting married today, I’d likely wear cream, just to have that bridal experience“, she confessed.
