For Sex and the City fans everywhere, dreams of owning their own pair of Carrie Bradshaw Manolo’s have come true. The latest SJP collection from Sarah Jessica Parker will be available in the Middle East, with a totally different style to those already on sale in the USA. Sarah Jessica Parker has partnered up with George Malkemus III – CEO of Manolo Blahnik – and produced a three piece collection of luxurious shoes at reasonable prices. You can purchase a pair from the collection, for between $200 and $500 from retailers in the Middle East.
At the launch in Dubai last night, Sarah Jessica Parker met fans and signed the soles of their Manolo Blahnik/Carrie Bradshaw-esque shoes. When asked about the possibility of Carrie wearing a pair from the collection, should there ever be a Sex and the City 3, Parker declined, saying: “there is no Sarah Jessica Parker in Carrie Bradshaw’s world. It’s an alternate universe. I think that would be so unethical and so outrageously bizarre, I can’t even imagine”.
