As the Saw franchise gets ready to celebrate it’s 10 year anniversary, producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules are planning on revamping the must loved and horrifying film series. Back in 2010, audiences assumed that Jigsaw had finished his reign of bloody terror but not all is as it seems, it looks like he’s not quite done with us yet.
The first movie is set to be re-released later this month and Koules and Burg spoke to STYD about what may happen next; “James [Wan] and Leigh [Whannell]… when Saw came out they were so afraid of being ‘the Saw guys’, now that they’ve made their own mark, they’re very comfortable to come back”. With no real details about where the series can go from here, it will be interesting to see how it will develop and who’s on board for the thrill ride!
