Selena Gomez is working on her partnership with Coach, and now she is taking it to the next level. The pop star will release a ready-to-wear collection which will include apparel and outerwear, in addition to handbags, leather goods and accessories.
“I always look forward to designing with Selena because she has a strong point of view.” said executive creative director Stuart Vevers in an official statement. “I am so excited to be working with Coach again,” added Gomez. “Getting to create my own collection with Stuart has been such a fun process, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have been working on over the past several months.”
The impact of the collection has already proven to be a success on social media, even though it hasn’t been released yet. Since she signed an alleged $10-million deal with the company at the end of 2016, Coach’s following increased by about 50 percent compared to the previous year. Analysts also noticed that Coach’s average number of photo comments and “likes” grew by 81 percent after teaming with Gomez.
