2017 has started off on the right track for former RichGirl, Sevyn Streeter. She debuted her latest single from her upcoming album, Girl Disrupted, “Fallen”. Her spin on the BET’s New Edition Series, “If It Isn’t Love”, successfully follows her single, “Before I Do”, also off the new album.
She wasted no time releasing the video for “Fallen”, despite being on tour and she did not disappoint, either. Director, Mike Ho (who also directed Chris Brown’s “New Flame” video), aided Sevyn in delivering visuals that are as seductive as the vocals laid on the track. Sevyn was also accompanied by one of her features, Ty Dolla $ign, which was a good look.
I personally adore Sevyn and her style of singing. I find it resonates more with a classic RNB sound and her lyrical content never fails to impress. Her album was due to be released last week Friday but has now been pushed to Spring (no dates confirmed as of yet).
Although discontenting for her fans who were saving their last coin for it; the content she is delivering so far increases the anticipation and you can be assured you will get a track list worth waiting for. In the meantime let’s enjoy her latest below release:
