SLØTFACE, formally known as SLUTFACE, had to change their band name due to social media censorship. However, they stayed true to their feminine, punk-rock idealism and strongly believe in freedom of speech and human rights. So, understandably, their newest track “Take Me Dancing” is a song that has intense power and an exciting rhythm.
Despite being feminists, it’s okay to let loose once in a while, and that’s what the song is about. According to singer Hayley Shea: “We believe in equal rights for all genders, but we also like parting and drinking and sometimes we make mistakes and that’s ok”.
