Hip-hop artist Natalie Lauren has just released her latest single “Something, Something”, on February 28, 2020! This single is accompanied by a video clip that was shot in Tulsa, where she was born.
This Tulsa, Oklahoma native, who signed a contract with the major label Rostrum Records, has not always been in the spotlight. Indeed, she has long been behind the scenes as a songwriter and composer for big names in the music industry, but she has decided to come out of the shadows with her single “Something Something”.
For the artist, it was an obvious choice to shoot this video clip in her hometown. This song is a song dedicated to her people who have been fighting for hope in Tulsa since 1921, and the faces of her family tell stories that she cannot. This song and video are directed by Ray Spears and produced by Swoope and John Smythe.
The single is a positive song. It’s about the feeling of certainty that something good is going to happen. You don’t know how to explain it, but you feel it, this “Something, Something”. That moment when you know everything’s gonna be all right, even when everything in your life goes wrong.
