“Your Sweet Power” the second of the two collaborations between Stark and Kestra, is a soulful and uplifting tune with a powerful funk bassline.
The story of the song is about a long-lost loved one who is still watching over your shoulder. Everyone remembers their favorite teacher or mentor, and you can still hear them admonish and correct you in your brain years afterwards. But it’s always done with love, and it’s always appreciated as a beacon of hope.
Stark is a songwriter and producer from London that creates dynamic pop compositions that are more than their parts. Since his debut in February 2020, his songs have received over 5 million streams, have been added to Spotify’s (Indie Pop, Trending Hits) and Apple Music’s (Future Hits, Friday Feeling) playlists, have charted in the Spotify Viral 50, and have been supported by BBC Introducing, EARMILK, Alfitude and others.
