Stella McCartney is well known for her 100% sustainable fashion and displayed a cruelty-free equestrian-inspired collection for autumn/winter 2017 season.
After the show, she let her VIP front row wait for photos and finished talking to cameras about her choice of a new fabric that could face leather in luxury fashion industry.
“I am so excited that we have finally developed fabrics that look just as good as the real thing, and therefore genuinely pose a question to the industry about why anyone needs to use leather any more” McCartney said.
Her models wore butter-soft black trousers, nappa handbags, suede jackets and trainers of microsuede that look like real leather and maintain a chic and elegant style.
Her ‘skin-free skin’ is an animal-friendly fabric that doesn’t devaluate the brand’s luxury style but at the same respects the animal welfare. The equestrian world inspired McCartney’s outfits, such as chic and sexy high-waisted jackets and coats that all of us love wearing during autumn. Don’t forget her suede mini dresses, leather panelled jackets and slouchy trousers to complete your cozy look.
She developed an amazing wearable collection that also saves and respects animals’ welfare.
