The original World War Z film was hampered by rumours of onset feuds and disagreements along with extensive reshoots and rewordings. Unlike Fantastic Four, World War Z was released to some acclaim and success. Especially financially.
On the back of the first film Paramount Studios and Brad Pitt began work on a sequel and signed up Locke writer Steven Knight to pen the screenplay. Knight has now revealed that he has submitted a draft of the screenplay and Paramount have released a potential release date of 9 June, 2017.
Be prepared for more zombies and more action as the sequel looms closer, and keep your fingers crossed for a smooth ride.
