Audacious Aussies Sticky Fingers are that addiction no one would ever have dared to admit to until now. Bucket hats have never been cooler and reggae rock has never sounded sexier. The band has made quite an impact in the last couple of years partly due to their tireless touring schedules. In fact they’ll be back on London shores shortly as part of an European tour in support of their recently released sophomore album Land Of Pleasure.
I’m not sure how well Londoners have grasped the ‘Stickies’ bogan buffoonery but once you do, you’ll never want to shave that 80’s moustache again. Their new video for reflective tune “Liquorlip Loaded Gun” features the band wandering the streets of Paris in tones of black and white. Close up shots of Dylan Frost looking slightly worn with circles under his eyes, and cigarette smoke seeping from his mouth draw attention to the underlining themes of the liquor driven character portrayed in the lyrics.
