The actor playing Bond is changing, and so could the all male directorial line up. Susanne Bier, director of the BBC’s adaptation of John Le Carre’s thriller The Night Manager could become the first woman to direct a James Bond film after Radio Times reported that her name was amongst the handful of names being considered for the next James Bond film.
Bier is best known for being a feature director behind the Oscar-nominated feature In A Better World, alongside 2007 drama Things We Lost in the Fire and Love Is All You need.
