Located on an island known as the ‘Island of Freedom’ in Budapest, Sziget Festival is host to a non-stop party for eight straight days and features some of the biggest names in international Pop/Rock, World and Electronic music, and is host to 400, 000 fans. This year, the Festival is house to legendary band Blink 182, as well as vocal genius Cee Lo Green, and incredible American Rock band Jimmy Eat World.
If you didn’t know already, Sziget is one of the biggest multicultural events of Europe and is celebrating its 22nd edition, taking place from the 11th of August to the 18th of August. This one-of-a-kind festival was invented to be a community area, a place to meet and get to know people, and with 400, 000 attendees every year, you can see that this is an inevitability. This festival is also host to a complete array of musical genres and talents including Metal, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Alternative and even Classical tunes.
