Taiwanese-American vocalist and producer Nathaniel Oku has just released a guitar-driven Pop-R&B track titled “Lifeline”. This track is full of catchy moments throughout the song it almost feels like the track is one big chorus however it has a tidy composition with several ups and downs.

The guitar-driven Pop/R&B hit “Lifeline” by Nathaniel Oku has an instantly recognisable chorus melody. While Lifeline taps on the recent resurgence of 80s-era R&B-inspired music, most notably as popularised by musicians like The Weeknd and Tory Lanez, its musical palette also incorporates a wide range of recognised pop influences.

And yes it’s safe to say that the new release is definitely one of those songs when you memorise the lyrics after 3 times of listening to it. This is what makes the song very easy to engage and vibe with it.

Nathaniel Oku is a Washington, D.C.-based Taiwanese-American songwriter, vocalist, and producer. Although the 23-year-old musician was raised in Pennsylvania while attending high school there, he was actually born in Massachusetts.

Oku’s music blends contemporary R&B with Pop, resulting in songs that are upbeat like summer anthems but frequently have sombre meanings and intricate musical intricacies. He is known for his casually poetic writing style and beautiful vocal harmonies.
