Rising Pop and R&B star Taylor Jasmine is set to release her latest single “Trust Me” on August 8, 2024. Co-written by Taylor and produced by rapper-producer Clark D, this lively track draws inspiration from her personal relationship experiences. “Trust Me” is a dance-infused, feel-good song where Taylor encourages her lover to trust her, emphasizing the importance of taking time and not rushing into relationships.
Taylor Jasmine Ahmed, born on March 14, 2000, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter known for her timeless blend of R&B, Pop, and soul. Her creative journey has been shaped by diverse musical influences, as well as a love for arts, fashion, poetry, and acting.
Initially part of an Atlanta-based girl group, Taylor went solo in August 2014 and collaborated with Mike Kalombo, CEO of Kalombo Records. Her consistent music and visuals caught the attention of producers for Lifetime’s “The Pop Game” with Timbaland.
Taylor Jasmine’s career took off with her 2019 debut album “Dear Me,” which charted at #6 on the R&B charts. This success was followed by the EP “COLORZ” and her sophomore album “Emotionally Fly” in October 2020, which also launched her fashion line. After a brief hiatus to focus on her music and personal life, she released her latest album “Outage” on January 5, 2024, with a special listening party for her supporters.
Currently, Taylor is collaborating with Clark D and preparing to release “Trust Me,” with an EP also in the works. As she continues her musical journey, Taylor Jasmine aims to create music that resonates with listeners and pursues her passions with unwavering enthusiasm.
