Tekla has released its brand new Spring 2022 sleepwear collection, featuring a range of poplin outfits.These outfits, each one more beautiful than the next, do not make you want to keep them just for yourself in the bedroom. Fortunately, they can also be worn with jeans for a light summer outfit for example.
The brand travelled to Costa Rica to photograph its upcoming collection, with photographer Laura Jane Coulson. The latter explains the choice of photographing the pieces in Costa Rica: “I was on a trip there with my friends (a few of which feature in the campaign). It’s a special, beautiful, calm place, with incredible nature, which felt like a perfect match. “
Tekla has already worked with Coulson for its family-focused 2020 campaign, and the 2022 shoot conveys the same ideas. It’s not just about sleeping, but building community and exploring themes of self-reflection, according to the brand. This new collection carries an element of nostalgia linked to the countryside, a kind of nostalgia for the outdoors and connection.
Each of the pieces is, of course, unisex and comes in four colourways, ‘Lemonade’, ‘Coffee’, ‘Clover Stripe’ and ‘Polka Stripe’, which give a vintage feel to the campaign. There are casual, oversized tops and bottoms that have been lightly stonewashed for comfort. The pieces are already on sale on Tekla’s website, with prices from $100 to $170 USD.
