The 1975 have announced that they will be touring America in December 2015. The tour will follow a 16-date UK tour in November, and will see the band playing in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Columbus, Minneapolis, Tempe, San Diego, Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland and Seattle. The band recently announced through their social media, that as they work towards their second album, they will be taking their image and their music in a different direction. Named Songkick’s ‘Hardest Working Band’ of 2014, the band travelled 155,000 miles in 365 days, playing 195 shows. It is expected that this work ethic will not change as the band does, and these new tour dates are the first signs that it will continue. General sale tickets are available from June 19.
