Copenhagen Fashion Week kicked off this Tuesday to show off the clothes and accessories of the upcoming Spring Summer 2020 season, being the inspiration outfit source for most of its attendees. Until August 9, you can take a walk on the Danish capital streets and catch the best looks of this summer. If you are not that lucky, we bring you our picks of the best styles that have been spotted in the Danish city.
Three intense days full of outfit inspiration and fashion shows with a tight schedule bringing the best cult international labels. Amongst the brands on show, we can see Ganni, Cecilie Bahnsen, By Malene Birger, Rotate, Saks Potts, the leather specialist Stand, London-based label Brøgger and fairy tale-inspired Helmstedt.
Copenhagen is still a newcomer compared to London, Milan, Paris or New York Fashion weeks. However, their previous seasons became increasingly important due to influencers like Sophia Roe, Jeanette Madsen, Pernille Teisbaek and Emili Sindlev.
Danish designers and fashion people are well-known for their creativity and use of colour and we can see it in some street styles. The ensembles previewed on the catwalk come courtesy of the models, buyers and editors sitting front row.
